I am looking into getting DISH, but there are a TON of trees around my house. Covering it in shade almost completely. Would that affect my reception?

It could affect reception. Very probable. I have a few trees around my dish and it still works fine, but that's just my case. Maybe someone else has a different story.

The trees covering my dish are definitely affecting the reception. It worked fine for a few years after I bought it, but the trees grew and now I have bad reception a few times a day. You can 1) trim the trees 2) get the dish adjusted, expensive, or 3) get cable. I am thinking about it. Embarrassed
